The FA Cup made an appearance last week at Academy’s Sports Club Football tournament, sponsored by Flow. Dwight Yorke, Manchester United Ambassador and former World Cup player graced the players with some inspirational words.

At Picture This Studios Towers we recently invested in a new underwater housing. We promptly put our new toy to the test in the warm blue waters off Barkers Beach. The housing by AquaTech Imaging Solutions gave us the opportunity to get some cool images. Over-unders and close up action shots were the order of the day. Special thanks to Maya Lewis, Dan Definis & Sandra Ann for letting us photograph their fine display of tricks and acrobatics.

Teams from such countries as England, the United States, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica and of course from our very own Grand Cayman took part. Each year the competition gets larger and draws even more top class teams. This year saw Manchester City FC, LA Galaxy, and the Seattle Sounders FC arrive to showcase their skills and footballing prowess. Manchester City were the eventual winners dominating the competition with a victory over the Cuban National Team in the final.

Ranging from 6 years up to 14 these kids sure know how to skate. Kings Sports Centre do an amazing job teaching the children the game in training sessions and setting up and playing leagues. I had great fun taking the Picture This Studio down to the sports centre to capture these cool portraits for this roller hockey shoot.
