A memorable day for this lovely couple and their respective friends and family for their picturesque beach wedding at the Westin, here in Grand Cayman. Blessed with a day of good weather, after a week of rain and clouds, these two childhood sweethearts tied the knot on the beach and celebrated deep into the night.

Julliana and Daniel had a very special and intimate wedding that had it all. Following their picturesque ceremony at Surfers Beach, the bridal party, friends and family made their way back to the couples complex for the reception. Here we were treated to some amazing speeches and some epic Dad dancing! Post reception, the couple had one more celebration to share with their baby gender reveal. Celebrations continued long into the night as this lovely couple started their new adventures together as Mr & Mrs Woodhall.

Earlier this week Tien, Brian and I galavanted around for their engagement photos. The two have this infectious positivity and happiness

that reflects through the lens and will be beyond apparent during their upcoming destination wedding in Grand Cayman.

To say that this wedding was epic is the understatement of the century! Both Dorcas and Nik were looking for a very special location which encompassed the glamour and beauty of the island mixed with a little bit of something different. Deciding to have their ceremony in the morning opened up the possibilities to allow for more time for both the Bride & Groom to party and enjoy the company of their guests. But they were not finished there! Not content with the customary Reception dancing and celebrations, the partying continued to the pool, with a pool party of epic proportions. Drinks flowed, music filled the air and a great atmosphere was enjoyed by everyone.

This was such a great evening for me. Some sessions are just effortless and this one was one of them.  I met this sweet mama over instagram a few weeks prior to their vacation in Grand Cayman. She reached out looking to do some family photos while they were staying at Kimpton.  I was so happy to take them off property to where the beaches are a little more quite and private. Nothing beats snuggling with your sweet kiddos with the Caribbean breeze in your hair and ocean waves crashing at your feet.

Natalie & Brandon adore Grand Cayman. They have spent several vacations on the island enjoying the beaches, lazy days and glorious sunsets. So what better place to choose to have your wedding than Grand Cayman. Here is a snippet of the collection from their rehearsal dinner located at the Beachcomber Condominiums Seven Mile Beach. Despite the early threat of rain to the evening, the skies cleared to reveal a lovely sunset and a perfect setting for the proceedings. Great food, flowing drinks, laughs and jokes and all in the company of good friends and family. Congratulations to the happy couple and we wish them all the best in married life together.

I had so much fun collaborating with Sophie & Harriet from Lustic Life! I asked for them to help me out with a fun idea for a photo session. I envisioned our very own Seven Mile Beach, sun dresses, big sun hats, sun glasses, island drinks with umbrellas, coconuts and pineapples, and the ultimate floaties. Nothing says summer more; especially Cayman summers!

If by some miracle you haven’t noticed its really hot out there!  No matter how much I reassure my clients that they are looking like a million dollars in every shot I take, they cant help but feel like a hot mess, melting like a popsicle!
That of course lead to the thought; my clients need to feel great during our sessions, but how can they feel great standing in the hot sand with the sun beaming down on them fully dressed? How can I make them feel great? Thats when I decided this summer I want to promote the ultimate Beach Mini Sessions!

First of all plan for the ultimate fun beach day under the sun! Wear your bathing suits, and bring your floaties! (On Island you can get floaties like this one and more from Belle by Celebrations and lets have some fun under the sun! Im going to be running these awesome mini sessions for the whole month of August! “Me & My Island BFF” so don’t miss out!
