I recently had the privilege of documenting this lovely couples wedding at the fantastic Kaibo Beach venue! This chilled out and easy going couple had an amazing time with their friends and family celebrating their special day. The backdrop of Kaibo upstairs with its colonial features made for a great setting for the getting ready images for this stunning bride and her hubby to be. Not only this but the beautiful beach scenery made for a spectacular ceremony and reception setting.

We wish Aldana and David all the happiness together in their new adventure as Mr & Mrs Herbotte!

Julliana and Daniel had a very special and intimate wedding that had it all. Following their picturesque ceremony at Surfers Beach, the bridal party, friends and family made their way back to the couples complex for the reception. Here we were treated to some amazing speeches and some epic Dad dancing! Post reception, the couple had one more celebration to share with their baby gender reveal. Celebrations continued long into the night as this lovely couple started their new adventures together as Mr & Mrs Woodhall.

Sinead and Robert tied the knot at their favorite location at Smiths Cove, Grand Cayman. Not all of their family and friends were able to make the trip over to Grand Cayman for their wedding, however, they were able to witness this lovely couples special day via Facetime along with a small group of friends that had assembled at the beach for the proceedings. Set against a moody sky and the amazing backdrop of Smiths Cove we were able to capture some very atmospheric shots of the bride and groom and their party. With Vows spoken, and rings exchanged the champagne was popped open and the celebrations begun.

Following on from their epic Spotts Beach wedding, Michelle & Cory wanted to fulfill their wedding dreams by having a Trash The Dress session. After some careful consideration to the location, a combination of Surfers Beach and Smiths Cove was decided.  Luckily these two were not scared of heights and enthusiastically jumped into the water at Smiths Cove, and once in, we captured some great images. We happened to have an awesome day with the weather with crystal clear waters and the bluest skies, and surprisingly had the beaches pretty much to ourselves! A rarity on such a beautiful day.

There is definitely a theme developing in my most recent blogs, where I appear to be taking a lot of shoots at Spotts Beach. I absolutely adore this beach and it has to be one of my favorites on island if not my absolute favorite. The lovely stretch of sand, the dock over the water, the shade from underneath the palm trees the rocky outcrop at the end of the beach, and least not the amazing green turtles. This beach makes for a truly stunning photo location.

With this in mind the location was easily chosen with our two superb models Kamilla & Christien for this great engagement styled shoot. Several wardrobe changes later and after moving around the various locations on the beach we achieved our goal of obtaining all the shots that we were after. With the light quickly fading we called it a day, opened a few bottle of beers and looked back over the images that we had captured. A great end to great day of shooting!

I had the pleasure and the honor to capture Michelle & Cory’s lovely Cayman beach wedding. This fun loving couple were joined by their close family and friends for an intimate wedding on Spotts Beach. Proceedings started with a few glasses of champagne whilst getting ready at the Morritts Resort, followed by their ceremony at the beach. The procession continued at Tukka for their reception and cake cutting.
This couple were such fun to work with and were so keen and excited for their big day…..but they were not finished there! Both Michelle & Cory had spoken about a Trash The Dress session. So who was I to disappoint this lovely couple? A location and date was set for some fun photos where getting wet was a necessity. Emily and Dan, two folks that fell in love with Grand Cayman years ago while they both were studying for their respective medical degrees. The destination wedding location was a no-brainer, venue being The Caribbean Club, a chic – boutique hotel that lies in the heart of the renowned Seven Mile Beach. Dozens of family and friends traveled from across the globe to bear witness to the unconditional love that the two have for each other and the picture perfect ceremony. Seeing as both Emily and Dan have such a love for the sea, they requested an encore session (trash the dress) the day after the wedding where they both jumped in the sea and experienced some intimate moments alone – my paparazzi camera at a distance of course. Below are highlights of the festivities from start to finish! A big kudos to the staff at Caribbean Club for making the day run smooth as silk as well as the planning and decor team at Celebrations, who transformed an empty beachfront into wedding bliss.
