Little Chloe celebrated her first birthday in style with her family and friends. This cute munchkin looked delightful in her pink tuttu as she got stuck into her birthday cake for a special birthday cake smash. After a quick wardrobe change and clean up, we headed outside for some family group photos. Chloe stole the show and looked adorable chasing after balloons and playing with her Mum & Dad.

We never know sometimes how the little one (who often has not even had cake or sweets) will react to the cake and even get mucky! But sometimes with a little help when mummy shows her its okay to stick your fingers in the cake we are most often pleasantly surprised and get great results! Cake smash sessions can be very messy but don’t let that worry you, we have roll out paper for the background so once the session is over we just tear that piece off. Cleaning up your little one is a bit more tricky 🙂 but we have a large bathroom and can suggest bringing some wet wipes, and a change of clothing. You can also incorporate props that are special to your child, for example balloons or books that they love to read or even your pet! They actually help with the clean up but make for great shots! We can even pop outside for some shots at Camana Bay as there are tons of places to add unique background too.
