It’s not all just about Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman! A great alternative location for a family photography session is at the home of Picture This Studios – Camana Bay. Filled with vibrant, tropical plants, winding paths, contemporary architecture and cool features like water fountains, Camana Bay is a perfect location to take your photos.
My recent family photo session with the Reyes family was a lot of fun and I’m really enthusiastic to do more photography sessions here, whether it’s family, couples of portraits.

Camana Bay, New Years Eve 2017

I don’t know about you, but 2016 went by in an absolute flash! Before we knew it, here at Picture This Studios, we were getting preparations ready for New Years Eve. Our colleagues at Camana Bay put on an awesome evening of entertainment. Fireworks filled the skies, music filled the air, and celebrations were shared by all.

Cayman Island Photographers | The Games at Camana Bay: Opening Ceremony and Fireworks.

Can you believe its been four years since the London Olympics? It really does not seem that long ago that we were all engrossed in the sporting action. In what has been a crazy Summer for sports, we have had yet another amazing event to watch. What an event it has been with the greatest athletes on the planet going head to head in the hope of striking gold. International superstars such as Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps and Sir Bradley Wiggins have all been gracing our screens at the Rio Olympics over the last three weeks. What better way to celebrate than watching it all unfold on a big outdoor movie screen. Accompanied by friends and toasting the nations with a drink, the event was a great success. Huge cheers could be heard for the teams but none greater than for the Cayman Islands Olympic team. A spectacular firework display rounded off the celebrations and set everybody in the mood for the next three weeks. Don’t forget to get your pictures taken with the Olympic torch statue in Camana Bay. The torch will be making its appearance from 5th August until the closing ceremony on 21st August.

Growing up in Bodden Town – Grand Cayman, the lure of the Pedro St James Castle always intrigued Tiffany and Dwayne. Rich in history, ancient bricks and an ocean view that is unparalleled. The celebration was underneath a stunning tent with bright florals and stunning ceiling lighting. The luxurious check-in was accompanied by a glass of champagne, only be to out-shined by the sweet Caribbean welcome. Tiffany loved this welcome and wanted her wedding guests to experience the Castle in a way that reflected the love she and Dwayne share. Together they invited their friends and family to toast, cheer, and support their beautiful love in one of the most beautiful places in the Cayman Islands.
