Cayman Islands Wedding Photography | Sinead & Robert | Smith’s Cove

Sinead and Robert tied the knot at their favorite location at Smiths Cove, Grand Cayman. Not all of their family and friends were able to make the trip over to Grand Cayman for their wedding, however, they were able to witness this lovely couples special day via Facetime along with a small group of friends that had assembled at the beach for the proceedings. Set against a moody sky and the amazing backdrop of Smiths Cove we were able to capture some very atmospheric shots of the bride and groom and their party. With Vows spoken, and rings exchanged the champagne was popped open and the celebrations begun.

Trash The Dress | Michelle & Cory | Part 2

Following on from their epic Spotts Beach wedding, Michelle & Cory wanted to fulfill their wedding dreams by having a Trash The Dress session. After some careful consideration to the location, a combination of Surfers Beach and Smiths Cove was decided. Luckily these two were not scared of heights and enthusiastically jumped into the water at Smiths Cove, and once in, we captured some great images. We happened to have an awesome day with the weather with crystal clear waters and the bluest skies, and surprisingly had the beaches pretty much to ourselves! A rarity on such a beautiful day.

Spotts Beach Wedding | Michelle & Cory | Part 1

I had the pleasure and the honor to capture Michelle & Cory’s lovely Cayman beach wedding. This fun loving couple were joined by their close family and friends for an intimate wedding on Spotts Beach. Proceedings started with a few glasses of champagne whilst getting ready at the Morritts Resort, followed by their ceremony at the beach. The procession continued at Tukka for their reception and cake cutting.
This couple were such fun to work with and were so keen and excited for their big day…..but they were not finished there! Both Michelle & Cory had spoken about a Trash The Dress session. So who was I to disappoint this lovely couple? A location and date was set for some fun photos where getting wet was a necessity. I’m sure you’ve all heard of trash the dress but how about just a plain beautiful aftershoot in your bridal gown? Doesn’t that sound lovely? AND you don’t have to trash the dress at all! haha These sessions are becoming so very popular among brides and couples. Sometimes you just don’t have enough time on the day of your wedding to capture all those beautiful intimate moments together. This is just a great stress-free session with zero pressure to perform. You get to relax and just be gorgeous. I met Lola a couple of years ago when I first photographed her sweet baby Joseph. Lola is currently working on designing her wedding album with us when she got married in the Dominican. She didn’t have a lot of solo images of her that she loved so we decided to recreate her wedding look and go out and capture the most beautiful photos of her! Enjoy the series!
