Running through life together! This couple got engaged and did their engagement photoshoot on Boggy Sand Rd in the Cayman Islands. It is a perfect blend of Cayman charm and beach bliss. As we wandered down this quaint road we stopped to take photos with the lush tropical foliage, twinkly light, traditional Caymanian homes and of course a stop at the quiet stretch of beach where we were met with 2 cute puppies! What a way to celebrate an engagement.

When I was asked to shoot the performance of the Wizard of Oz at the Harquail Theater I had no idea what I was in for! Quinn, her team and all their amazing participants from Quintessential Movement absolutely blew the audience, and me away! With their fluid acrobatics, graceful poll dances, slinky silks and all the while keeping to the storyline and vocals from the original Wizard of Oz movie. It was modern, full of movement and nostalgic. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed shooting them!

The tornado! From Kansas to the land of the munchkins.

Between the main characters and storyline were some of the most graceful performances, and amazing displays of physical strength.

And of course the Great and Powerful Oz!

A simple ceremony on a sunny day. This beautiful couple was surrounded by her children and their friends, and even cuter her son walked her down the aisle. The ceremony was held at the Meridian under a gorgeous arch by The Flower Del and ceremony by Simply Weddings under the shade of a casurina tree. Then of course we took advantage of the perfect Cayman day and the quiet stretch of 7-Mile and took some blue water and blue sky photos.

This family was just glowing with love for each other, there was a certain sparkle in their eyes that just showed how much they loved and cared for each other. Even brother and sister were happy and playing and soaking up the fun to of the photo shoot.

Spotts Beach is such a great place to shoot because it had it all! The interesting cliffs and rocky shore, the white sand beach, palm trees groves and of course the dock. A shoot here will give so much diversity in backgrounds you will have so many lovely family memories.

The National Trust held their annual fundraiser Hatitude this year at Papagallos. Between the custom cocktails by Jaques Scott, all the sponsors including Mercedes Benz and Cayman Tea Time among many others, the special guest Miss World Cayman Islands, the silent auction, raffle prizes and awards for the best hat in the various categories of the Hat Parades, fun was had by all! AND more importantly funds were raised for all of the National Trust’s various projects including the Blue Iguana Conservation Program among their other community efforts. Enjoy the photos below, some of the hats were just so creative and colorful we had a blast shooting this event!
