Beautiful baby Harrison and his parents (including his furry parent) did newborn photos in their lush backyard with golden light. This chilled out family was so fun to work with and was up for anything. Their little pup Una Bella was also very keen to be a part of the shoot and added such a cute element to the already cute little Harrison.

Cayman is such a special place for so many reasons. The beauty, the small lovely community, and the people that have come together from lands far away and formed a bond that lasts a lifetime. I say this because like these two beauties that met here and fell in love, so did I!

Ben and Ashley got engaged at good old Smith’s Cove (Smiths Barcadere) and we had the most beautiful evening taking photos to commemorate this once in a lifetime occasion.

JUNE 16TH – WORLD SEA TURTLE DAY

World Sea Turtle Day is used to honor and highlight the importance of sea turtles. These creatures, like any other creature, are magnificent in their own way. Not only are sea turtles beautiful animals, but they also show incredible perseverance and resiliency – after all, they have been nesting on beaches for millions of years. So of course they deserve their own day dedicated to their awesomeness!

To celebrate these amazing creatures the Cayman Turtle Center released several turtles into the wild. Hopefully someday they will return to Cayman’s shores and mate and lay eggs and further the recovery of this peaceful and graceful species.

Wow and wow!!! This is by far the largest and most impressive home I have ever shot. After 25.5 hours shooting, following the light, wandering the hallways, exploring the various rooms, multiple buildings and expansive grounds I managed to capture the impressive abode. (note the beautiful drone shots were taken by Aerial Innovations).
 
This mega mansion and eye candy of design, decor and photography can be viewed in this edition of Real Life Magazine, it is a free magazine on stands around the island and I highly recommend you pick it up. It is so dreamy to flip through.  If you can’t make it to the Cayman Islands and get your own physical copy, it can also be viewed on the Real Life website under the showcase home La Rosa Nautica: Cayman Islands
 
Design Cayman are the architects and masterminds of this beauty and it took 5 years to complete this home. From conception, construction and craftsmanship, to finally the actual move in date, it was a commitment on everyone’s part. Everyone I spoke to involved with this house was so glowing with pride being a part of such a masterpiece.
 
I too was extremely proud and honored to be a part of the project and to be able to spend time and explore this gorgeous home capturing it’s beauty and uniquness.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I always love working with Real Life. A woman run girl power magazine that is all good people. I also am so impressed by the photos that Real Life curate into their magazine. In shoots like this there are literally 1000’s of images to choose from and how they decide which to choose and how they make them blend perfectly together is always impressive.
 
Having said that, there are always photos that as a photographer I LOVE. I somehow become emotionally attached to photos for different reasons, the moment in time, the sheer beauty, the light that happened to be shimmering on the subject or the angle that I just love. Its almost Valentines Day!!! Time to get romantic and book your shoot to celebrate your love.

This is Caitlin and Patrick, we had a beautiful evening at Smiths Cove. At first it looked like the weather was not going to cooperate, but the moody blue atmosphere yielded to a brilliant pink sunset glow making the photos exciting and romantic for this beautiful and fun couple. And of course ya gotta love a shoot that ends up with people jumping from jump rock and playing in our beautiful Cayman waters!

This sweet mama contacted me and wanted some photos of her sweet little boy in the golden fields! After a couple of rescedules due to rain I am so lucky we got the sunshine! To my clients: if you’re after that golden sunset look then it’s definitely worth the wait! Little Dario was one of the most happiest toddlers I have ever photographed! All he wanted to do was love on his mama! What was suppose to be a children’s session ended up being a beautiful mother son shoot. Thank you Melaine and Dario for an amazing evening!
