This Texas family came to the Cayman Islands for a sun soaked vacation on the long stretch of Seven Mile Beach. Two cute sisters and youthful looking parents made a great photoshoot. Starting at the lushes green gardens of the Kimpton Seafire, and working our way down to Tiki Beach, I had a lot of fun capturing this bunch. The sisters were having a blast, running around all over the place, hardly keeping still for a photograph! This however resulted in some interesting angles, having the family look down at the camera whilst I lay down on the sand. The spontaneous nature of working with two energetic sisters and fun parents made an awesome photography session here in the beautiful Cayman Islands.
 

The last couple of years has seen some big name bands come and perform here in Grand Cayman. Last year we had Third Eye Blind perform and this year our eardrums were serenaded with the super talented Aloe Blacc and his equally talented band at the Kimpton Seafire Stage at the Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa. Performing such chart hits as “I Need A Dollar“, “I’m The Man” and “Wake Me Up” the Cayman audience were soon dancing and singing along to these great tunes. We had great fun shooting the concert and look forward to hopefully capturing future events at this great location.

To say that this wedding was epic is the understatement of the century! Both Dorcas and Nik were looking for a very special location which encompassed the glamour and beauty of the island mixed with a little bit of something different. Deciding to have their ceremony in the morning opened up the possibilities to allow for more time for both the Bride & Groom to party and enjoy the company of their guests. But they were not finished there! Not content with the customary Reception dancing and celebrations, the partying continued to the pool, with a pool party of epic proportions. Drinks flowed, music filled the air and a great atmosphere was enjoyed by everyone.

Special mention to the Kimpton Seafire team and Celebrations for their planning and organizing of this great wedding extravaganza.

This Kimpton Seafire Beach Resort wedding brought together the beauty of the beach with the glamour of a presidential suite affair. And that ceremony view! It’s a show-stopper like only Grand Cayman can produce.

Add to that a talented team of vendors including design and floral by Celebrations Ltd. and the result is dreamy destination “I Do’s”. It was such a great pleasure to document the love and joy shared between Shanna, Dick and their family and friends.

Molli & James wanted to have their destination wedding somewhere special with bright blue skies, crystal clear turquoise waters, and gorgeous sandy beaches. Blessed with some of the prettiest beaches and backdrops in the Caribbean where better to choose to have your wedding than here in Grand Cayman. Added to all this natural beauty the island has a plethora of luxury hotels including the stunning Kimpton Seafire Resort & Day Spa which was their venue of choice for their special occasion.
The shoot started off with both Molli & James getting ready in their respective luxury bungalows, surrounded by their friends and family, eating, drinking and laughing as they prepared for the days proceedings.
Both the bride and groom were both a little nervous being in front of the camera but soon settled into the flow of things. Their nerves were definitely helped after an impromptu drink at the Anchors Store at the Yacht Club after stopping for some booze on route back to the hotel from their “First Look” shoot. The staff there very kindly gave us all a drink to celebrate their special day!
Once back at the venue and final preparations were made, the ceremony took place on a picture perfect evening on the beach and the happy couple completed their vows.
I had a great day shooting this wedding with this great fun couple and wish them all the best in their adventures together as Mr & Mrs Millett.

The weekend is so close I can nearly taste it, and this wedding photographed last weekend has me ready to kick back with a cocktail and live like I’m on island time, oh wait .. I am.

Set in Grand Cayman, a meaningful location for the couple, where George popped the question to Charity. This beach affair is everything you want in a destination wedding with Save The Date planning bringing loads of color, whimsy, and style into the mix.

The Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa played backdrop for this stunning wedding celebration and consider this a Happy Friday, indeed!

Inspiration comes in many forms but when it’s a bridal shoot set in a stunning resort – Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, with one of the most beautiful beaches as the backdrop; it’s more than enough reason to swoon. With the creative vision of Celebrations for Floral, Hair and Makeup provided by Sean & Jackie from Vintage, it’s no surprise every detail came together perfectly. From the moment that we stepped through the front doors of the resort we knew we had found somewhere very special. Still holding our glasses of champagne that we had received at reception we opened the door to our room for the next two nights. We were greeted with a spectacular view over the pool area and over Seven Mile Beach. The room was luxurious, spacious, clean, bright and modern. Walking through the resort the luxurious theme continued with the spectacular pool overlooking the beach. We sampled the food at the three main restaurants and were blown away with the food and the excellent service.

We can categorically say that we had an amazing time at the Kimpton Seafire. I hope that we do not have to wait too long before we can stay there again!
