E-Session for Joseph and Abby | a {Cayman Islands} Love story | Engagement Session Cayman

Joseph decided to propose to Abby in Jamaica while on a cruise and then once he landed in Cayman we met up for a engagement session cayman style, also know as a E-Session, to make sure this day will be remembered forever! I picked them up from the George Town Terminal and we headed off to Smiths Cove for some fun shots of them, then we headed down Seven Mile Beach for some “getting wet” shots. I met up with Heather Neilson a fabulous photographer I work with at Picture This and she captured some under water shots of the couple. It was a blast! One thing I love about doing engagement sessions is that each couple have their own story and I can’t wait to hear them each tell me their side…. This couple is clearly in love and what a romantic!!!!!!!!
Here is their story….
I had decided I wanted to propose to Abby last March, and from then on Angie (Abby’s mum) and I started planning for the perfect day. I started doing some research on beautiful places in the destinations we would be stopping on our cruise. I found Tensing Pen in Jamaica and fell in love with its beauty. So Angie was able to talk to the folks at the resort and they were able to set up a reservation for lunch for us once we arrived in Negril. So we arrived in Jamaica where we began our personal tour of the island. We made our way to Negril. Once we pulled into Tensing pen and walked onto the deck of the resort I knew exactly where I wanted it to take place. So after we had a delicious lunch, I asked Abby to walk with me down to a part of the resort which we had not yet explored. As the sun was beginning it’s decent towards the ocean I looked into Abby’s beautiful eyes and was ready to ask her the question of a lifetime! With the waves crashing on the cliffs next to us I got down on one knee and proposed to her! Everyone, even the quests at the resort, waited with bated breath for her to say yes! After she did everyone erupted with cheers from atop the deck and pool! It was an absolutely perfect moment!

Super Fun Family Session at Smith's Cove

This family came back for their second trip to Cayman and booked another photo session at Smith’s Cove this year. The whole family is such a blast and at the end wanted to do a ‘trash the family’ and all get wet in the ocean. As for the youngest… well that wasn’t enough fun so he decided to make the ‘jump’ at the end!

Mark & Marla – Post wedding shoot

Mark and Marla were married at the Westin Causarina Resort on the beautiful Grand Cayman Islands. Picture This photographer Mark Anthony Chen wanted to take them out a few days later to do a creative shoot and capture this couple in a fun, casual, photo journalistic style. Marla is just stunning and so naturally beautiful and was so much fun to shoot. Mark looked brilliant in his grey suit and red shoes. Great job guys and congratulations! More to come from their wedding.

E- Session – Smiths Cove – Cayman Islands

Choosing to get married in the Cayman Islands is a big decision and one we want to help you with. Many of our clients will pop down to Cayman to check out the venue, do a food tasting and do a fun photo shoot with their photographer. This allows the photographer to get to know you and you get to see what you like. An added bonus is then you can use those photos to design an awesome Engagement book that your guests can sign. These guys had a great session with March Chen at Smiths Cove located in South Sound, they wanted to do a sunset session. We look forward to their wedding!
