The third annual Cayman Airways Invitational 2016 Youth Cup took place between June 20th-25th. Local Teams such as Academy FC and Sunset FC pitted their skills against overseas competitors such as Cavalier FC from Jamaica, IFFDC from the United States and a team you may of heard of from the UK called Tottenham Hotspur. Teams battled over the course of six days to win the competition. The eventual winners Cavalier FC conquered Tottenham in the final 2-0. Over the course of the week, we were witness to some excellent teams, and some quality and skillful individuals. I’m extremely excited to look forward to next years competition to see which teams take on the challenge of the Cayman Airways Invitational 2017 Youth Cup.
