On Tuesday 10th May the Cayman Airways Invitational U15 Youth football Cup 2016 kicked off with twelve teams participating from around the globe. Teams from such countries as England, the United States, Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica and of course from our very own Grand Cayman took part. Each year the competition gets larger and draws even more top class teams. This year saw Manchester City FC, LA Galaxy, and the Seattle Sounders FC arrive to showcase their skills and footballing prowess. Manchester City were the eventual winners dominating the competition with a victory over the Cuban National Team in the final.

Caring For Life Golf Tournament Sponsored by Scotiabank

At 1215pm the Caring For Life Golf Tournament teed off at the North Sound Golf Club Grand Cayman with twenty nine teams competing to win the prestigious event. The competition sponsored by Scotiabank was the 6th installment of the competition and proved to be a massive hit with the local golf contingency.
