Although Grand Cayman is surrounded with loads of scenic spots for family photography, I’m always particularly excited to photograph at Rum Point and Star Fish Point. Although it’s an hours drive away (which for the Cayman Islands is a long drive) it’s totally worth the commute. More isolated compared to the busy Seven Mile Beach, and more diversity in scenery.
We started this photo session right at Rum Point, before moving down towards the green areas of Starfish Point. The variety of plants here, along with the nice open ground works so well for sunset photography. The golden rays shine through the trees giving a perfect backdrop for portraits and group family photography.
