Natalie & Brandon adore Grand Cayman. They have spent several vacations on the island enjoying the beaches, lazy days and glorious sunsets. So what better place to choose to have your wedding than Grand Cayman. Here is a snippet of the collection from their rehearsal dinner located at the Beachcomber Condominiums Seven Mile Beach. Despite the early threat of rain to the evening, the skies cleared to reveal a lovely sunset and a perfect setting for the proceedings. Great food, flowing drinks, laughs and jokes and all in the company of good friends and family. Congratulations to the happy couple and we wish them all the best in married life together.

I just loved everything about this beautiful seaside wedding at Tranquility Cove. The entire day was filled with love and laughter. Rachael and Ricardo are the sweetest couple and I was so happy they asked me to share their day with them. I might have cried a couple of times during the wedding ;)…I just couldn’t help it. What advice would you offer to other couples planning a destination wedding?
Have a good planner and caterer , check the weather and have a back up plan in the event of inclement weather. Enjoy it no matter what happens.
What photography-related advice would you offer to a couple?
Definitely do the first look shoot! If your budget allows have the photographer stay for the reception.

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

Found my dress in Florida and it was the first dress I tried on after my friend Hana said “try this one on for me” I liked it but I had a completely different style in mind so I wanted to try on a few more. After trying on the other dresses I went back to it and at that moment I became overwhelmed and felt like a bride. I knew it was the one!
How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?
It was an absolute pleasure as always working with you. Everything flowed. I knew you would capture all the details and had no concerns about you missing the special moments. We were totally comfortable.

 Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

Yes we did the first look which was so special. Thanks for the tip and encouragement!
Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?
Have hair and makeup done before getting ready photos and have a glass of wine and candle burning to set the mood.

My makeup was perfect thanks to Stephanie Ford Ramoon. My hair and junior bridesmaids hair was styled by Natasa of Rock Gorgeous!
What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about regarding your wedding day and what was the outcome?
I was nervous about the weather! God is good apparently it rained every where else in Cayman but at Tranquility Cove!

What’s one piece of advice you would give to other couples for planning their wedding?

Remember that the most important thing is the union between the bride and groom. Nothing else matters so if some things do not go as planned just enjoy the day no matter what and focus on each other!

What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Father-daughter dance? Mother-son dance?

Tell me about your dress. Where did you find it, how did you choose it, how did you know it was the one?

I wanted something more light and flowy than the traditional wedding dress. I started to look online at Sherri Hill gowns and when I saw a photo of this dress I instantly fell in love with it. I ordered it online and went to pick it up in store. The halter style and open back fit my body type beautifully. It was the only dress I tried on.

Did you see each other before the wedding? If not, did you like waiting or would you have rather done it differently? Tell me why or why not!

We had a first look before the wedding and it was perfect. We both had a lot going on that day and to have those intimate moments to comfort each other made us feel at ease.
 

What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about regarding your wedding day and what was the outcome? 
We were expecting a slight shower later in the evening but not right before the ceremony. My heart was beating so fast! It turned out to be a shower of blessing as it stopped raining shortly after. I’ve heard so many similar stories, if it happens to you don’t stress.
 

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?
Walking down the aisle seeing Donovan teary eyed was definitely a moment I will cherish forever. It was so special.

What was the first song you danced to as husband and wife? Father-daughter dance? Mother-son dance?
Our first dance song was “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz. We chose this song because it reminded us of how important it is to fight for our marriage and to never give up despite the obstacles that come our way.

 
 
How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?
Daria was so easy to work with, she took our ideas and brought them to life. We are so excited to see our wedding album!
