I really enjoy taking the time to take emotive photos with a couple, let them be themselves and just love each other. These kind of weddings are ideal for this. After the ceremony it’s just them and the photographer. You could see the love in the eyes of Brittany & Scott, and it’s wonderful not only to capture this, but to witness this love and joy first hand. Congratulations guys!

When I met up with Amanda and Ben I was happy to see how relaxed they were, yet wanted me to help them get some memorable wedding photos. As the whole wedding was taking place at the Kimpton Seafire Resort, I knew there would be plenty of opportunities to get some stunning images. Their first look around the modern architecture of the resort worked so well, followed by their ceremony on the beach and some beautiful family moments as the sun set. I couldn’t be happier!

Although I have attended and captured many weddings here in the Cayman Islands, I’m usually capturing video rather than photographs. Prior to moving to Grand Cayman I worked almost exclusively in video production, but since I started working at Picture This Studios almost two years ago I’ve been doing more and more photography, and I love it. When I had the opportunity to capture Kelly & Michael’s wedding, I was delighted.
 
I had a feeling their wedding was going to be beautiful to capture, and it did not disappoint! With getting ready at the Marriott hotel, ceremony at the beautiful Elmslie United Church, family photos at Governors Beach and lastly reception at Grand Old House, we had a lot of locations to cover. It was a pleasure to capture their wedding and get some amazing photographs.

I recently had the privilege of documenting this lovely couples wedding at the fantastic Kaibo Beach venue! This chilled out and easy going couple had an amazing time with their friends and family celebrating their special day. The backdrop of Kaibo upstairs with its colonial features made for a great setting for the getting ready images for this stunning bride and her hubby to be. Not only this but the beautiful beach scenery made for a spectacular ceremony and reception setting.

We wish Aldana and David all the happiness together in their new adventure as Mr & Mrs Herbotte!

However, since meeting Lori-Ann Foley, the owner and designer of The Cake Studio – I’ve officially recanted my way of life slightly. She is one of the kindest souls one will ever meet; and its not only because she will spontaneously drops off cupcakes and treats for the photo studio to enjoy.
