  • Where are you located?

    The old Camana Bay location has been closed since Feb 2020 and like the changing times we have changed owners and are getting reestablished. We are offering all our photography services as usual with our mobile studio as well as limited printing services. We hope to have a new location at some point in the near future so stay in touch!

  • Do you do passport photos?

    Unfortunately we no longer offering this service, however if you need professional headshots or personal portraits done we can certainly help you.

  • Where can I get a Studio Session?

    Since we are operating as a mobile studio and do not have a current physical location, we can bring the studio to you! We have a selection of standard/neutral backgrounds, as well as festive and fun background for you to choose from. We will also provide the studio lighting so no need to worry about a thing. As long as you can make some space in your living room, we can get those studio style shots you are dreaming of.

    This session will last 45 minutes-1 hour with an expected image count of 35. Your Digital Images are included in the price and can be sent via a digital download.

  • What goes into a Location Photography Session?

    It is always helpful to know why you want to book the photos session. Is it a family portrait to commemorate your growing family, an anniversary, or just because you want some nice photos. Once we know the why we can tell you the when and where. We can suggest the perfect location to get the images you would like or if you have a location in mind, we are happy to oblige.

    Our standard location shoot is 45 minutes-1 hour long with an expected image count of 35. Your Digital Images are included in the price and can be sent via a digital download.

  • When is the best time to take photos on the beach?

    We recommend having your beach photos taken just after sunrise in the early morning to catch the Caribbean blues, or the hour before sunset, when the sun is low and the light is golden. Not only can this result in some beautiful “golden hour” images with gorgeous backlighting which is ideal for portraits, but it is much more comfortable than taking portraits when the sun is at full strength. During a typical Cayman day when the sun is high it gets very hot; especially if you’re on the beach without any shade. The sun is so bright it’s almost impossible to not squint because of the harsh light reflecting off the sand and sea. Also it is at a direct angle and makes for some unflattering shadows.

  • How and when do I see my Photos after the session?

    After your photo session we’ll give you an estimate time of when you can expect to see your images, it varies on the time of year and how busy we are but normally the proof gallery is turned around in about 7 days. We will send you an email link to a private online gallery where you can view and choose your favorite images.

  • When will I receive my final photos?

    We are just as excited as you are about your new photos! We want to ensure that we deliver the best possible images and therefore hand edit each photo.

    For portrait sessions, once you choose your favorite images from the proof gallery, you will receive your final images within 7-10 days. For event images we require 3-5 business days, corporate portraits 1-2 business days and weddings can take 6-8 weeks, however you will receive teasers within 7 days of the wedding to tide you over. If you need the photos sooner it can be requested but there may be a rush fee.

  • What should we wear for our photography session?

    Dressing everyone in complimenting color schemes always work well. For example, dress everyone in creams and blues or another complimenting color scheme. Try to avoid dressing everyone in the exact same color as this can look forced and unnatural. Your photographer would be more than happy to help you finalize your photoshoot wardrobe so feel free to get in touch with us!

    Please be aware that logos, name brands, words, graphics, fluorescent colors and wild patterns on clothing can detract from you and your family’s faces and we therefore recommend shying away from such clothing.

    Most importantly we want you to be comfortable, wear something that you feel good in! We further encourage simple and classic clothing to ensure that your images stand the test of time.

  • Can I get all the raw files from my photography session?

    Sorry we do not give out the raw files as they are the unfinished product. These files take up much more space and require special software to open and retouch. You’re better off letting us edit the images and we’ll give you the best version of your photos possible.

  • Can I just get one photo of myself?

    During the session the time is yours! We are happy to take requests and can certainly do individual shots of everyone. If you wanted a more formal look, we are happy to book you in for professional headshots or a solo photo shoot should you require a more one on one session that will provide you with a greater variety of individual photos.

  • How much is a Wedding Photography Session?

    We have several different packages for you to choose from and can certainly work with you according to your budget, timing and must haves for your day. There is no doubt we can find the right package or even create a bespoke package to suite your needs.   • Are you guys still doing printing?

    Yes! Despite our location being closed we can still help you with prints. We can do photopaper prints and canvases no problem, just contact us with your request and we can take it from there.

    We are not yet back to providing our full range of printing options that we used to, but we are working towards offering that again soon. Stay tuned!
