I had the honor of photographing the 2016 IMAC (Insurance Mananagers Association of Cayman) black tie gala and Scholarship Fundraiser. The event, located at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort, was the 5th incarnation of the well respected gala. The event included a reception, a delicious dinner, an auction as well an opportunity to get up on the dance floor. All profits from the auction were donated to an educational scholarship fund.  Through its scholarship programme IMAC hopes to give back to Cayman through the development of young Caymanian talent. This years scholarship student guest speaker was Erica Erica Powell, who graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood. The IMAC Scholarship is providing the funding for 13 students to pursue their overseas college educations, and has sent 38 Caymanian students to complete post-secondary education. The evening was a great success with more proceeds raised for the education scholarship. I always enjoy these corporate events, particularly shooting the photobooths where people can relax and let their hair down.
